Chocolate Covered Banana Superfood Pops

A healthy sweet snack made from 3 simple ingredients! These Chocolate Covered Banana Pops are easily customizable, kid-friendly and a delicious recipe that everyone will LOVE.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Bananas ripe, but firm
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips or a chopped up chocolate bar
  • 2 Tbs Coconut Oil melted
  • ½ cup Superfood Toppings pumpkin seeds, goji berries, hemp seeds, shredded coconut flakes, etc.

Method
 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut bananas in half and insert a Popsicle stick into each half. Place bananas on the baking sheet and freeze for 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate with coconut oil on low heat in a pot on the stove. Stir until smooth.
  4. Dip each banana pop in the chocolate, then sprinkle with your choice of topping.
  5. Freeze Banana Pops for an hour or two until chocolate is completely hardened.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
