Vegan Coconut Cacao Truffles

These truffles are vegan, gluten-free and simply delicious. Made with whole ingredients like dates, cacao, almonds, and coconut. Great for an energy-boosting snack or healthy dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup Raw Cacao Powder
  • 1 cup Almonds, Walnuts, or Pecans
  • cup Maple Syrup or Coconut Nectar
  • 1 Tbs Coconut Oil melted
  • ½ cup Medjool Dates pitted
  • tsp Salt
  • Shredded Coconut

Method
 

  1. Grind up nuts in a food processor until they are fine .
  2. Add dates to the food processor and mix thoroughly .
  3. Pour nut and date mixture into a bowl.
  4. Add coconut nectar/maple syrup, coconut oil, and sea salt .
  5. Form 1 inch balls with your hands and roll in shredded coconut .

Notes

Store in a container in the freezer.
